Furai no Shiren 3 (Wii / Sega / February 28th 2008 Release)
- There will be "trap floors" that restrict your actions (ex. floors that restrict your from using staves, and floors that restrict you from using scrolls)
- How item / tool upgrades work:
1. First your have to find a special kind of floor called "Ryumyaku" (dragon's pulse), and place an item on it. The Ryumyakus have elemental attributes and how your item changes is based on the Ryumyaku's element.
2. Once you place an item on the Ryumyaku, you have to use a "scroll of barrier" and create a barrier that surrounds the Ryumyaku.
3. You can break the barrier whenever you want, or have a monster walk into which will break it as well. After the barrier breaks, you can pick up your upgraded item.
Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (PSP / Capcom / March 13th 2008 Release)
Information on Narugakuruga (no idea what the English name is)
It has extremely sensitive hearing, blade shaped wings, an extremely tough tail, and is very agile and aggressive!
- In a special project between Famitsu and MHP2nd called "In search of the ultimate Gunlance!", we worked on the development of a Famitsu exclusive "ultimate Gunlance!"
About Character Data Transfers
1. All the data on your "guild card" can be transferred for use anywhere outside of the training grounds.
2. All "accessories" on your equipment will be removed and placed in your item box. Some equipment will have different skill requirements than before.
3. All completed quest information, the state of your Airuu Kitchen and your Farm, your insignias (?) and titles can be transferred. Also, the item box can now hold up to 800 items in its beginning state.
4. Part of the gallery, and some downloaded quests from Monster Hunter 2nd cannot be transferred.
5. You will be able to take your character and start a new game on 2ndG.
