Néanmoins on peut voir que coté next gen, la PS3 rules, ça va faire plaisir à ravy

Nan mais plus sérieusement, je souris en lisant ces charts de pays comme l'italie là qui sont assez insignifiants en soi, m'enfin chaque communauté doit y trouver son compte. :o

C'est peut être un petit pays mais je suis quand même assez étonné. Il n'y a pas qu'eux, la PS3 marche très bien en espagne, elle marche aussi assez bien en allemagne et remonte fort au RU. Sans compter qu'en france, à l'heure où on parle, elle a dépassé la 360. L'année 2008, Wii mise à part, en Europe, ça sera PS3 et rien d'autre (à part la PS2 qui va encore vivre un bon moment sûrement).

Bof, mais ça fera peut être plaisir à ta chérie ?

, quand elle sait pas de quoi je parle mais que ça parait pas être un truc débile, elle dira que les italiens ont raison

Les consommateurs belges ont acheté l'an dernier 340.000 consoles de jeu et 294.000 versions de poche de ces appareils. Un tiers de ce chiffre a été réalisé dans les six dernières semaines de l'année, selon les données du bureau d'études GfK dont De Morgens se fait l'écho mercredi.

La Playstation 3 est la plus populaire, suivie de la console Wii de Nintendo, de la Playstation 2, qui entre dans sa huitième année d'existence, et enfin de la Xbox 360. L'an dernier, on a vendu 4,16 millions de jeux pour console, soit près d'un million de plus qu'en 2006. Les jeux sur PC sont par contre en baisse: d'1,85 million en 2006, on est passé à 1,82 millions l'an dernier. (GFR)

According to ELSPA (Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association) and Chart-Track, which officially released the annual video game data for the U.K. today, the industry across the pond hit an all-time high in 2007.

ELSPA said it was an "unprecedented" year as there was a 16 percent increase in units sold for a total of 75.9 million units, and record sales of interactive entertainment software across all formats totaled £1.72 billion ($3.37 billion), representing an increase of more than 26 percent over the record numbers of 2006.

The portable market played a big part in the growth of the U.K. industry, as 2007 was the biggest year ever for handheld systems. The Nintendo DS in particular was number one in terms of software units sold, while Sony's PSP ranked fifth and sixth in units and value, respectively. "The entire console hand-held sector broke previous records and claimed nearly a third of the entire software units market, up 45% and just over one-quarter of the entire software market by value, up by 28%," ELSPA noted.

In terms of value, the Xbox 360 was tops, followed by PS2 (down from top spot in 2006), then Nintendo's Wii and Sony's PS3. Looking at the systems in terms of units sold, however, the order changes to PS2 (but #2 overall behind DS, the first time it has not been the biggest format since 2003), followed by Xbox 360, Wii and PS3.

L'industrie du jeux vidéo aux Royaumes Unis ne s'est jamais aussi bien portée.

En gros dans les faits intéressants :

- Le marché des portables a connu sa plus grosse année en 2007 (question revenu je suppose).

- La Nintendo DS est première en nombre de jeux vendus. Tandis que la PSP se place cinquième et sixième en terme respectivement de jeux vendus et de revenu.

- En terme de revenu [de consoles de salon je suppose], la Xbox 360 est première, suivie de la Playstation 2 qui était première l'année dernière. Ensuite viennent la Wii puis la PS3.

- En terme de jeux vendus on retrouve dans l'ordre la DS, la PS2, la 360, la Wii [, la PSP] et enfin la PS3.

EA’s ‘Burnout Paradise’ is the first title of 2008 to hold on to the No1 spot in the All Formats Chart, despite a 13% drop in sales in its second week of release. The PS3 version accounts for 49% of sales this week, almost overtaking the Xbox 360 version whose sales fall by 16% compared to PS3’s 9% decline.

Replenished Wii console hardware stock gives ‘Wii Play’ a boost, up from No4 to No2 with sales almost doubling (+87%). Activisions’ ‘Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’ holds on to No3, featuring in the Top 3 of the All Formats Chart for the past 8 weeks, while Sega’s ‘Mario & Sonic’ falls from No2 to No4 (sales down 46%). Nintendo’s only DS representatives in the All Formats Top 10 are the original ‘Brain Training’, a non-mover at No5, and the sequel ‘More Brain Training’, up from No10 to No7.

Competitive pricing on ‘WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2008’ helps THQ’s game jump back into the All Formats Top 10 arena, while Nintendo’s Wii ‘Donkey Kong: Jet Race’ speeds to the outskirts of the Top 10, up 22 places from No33 to No11 in its second week of release. Wii hardware bundling enables both ‘Sonic and the Secret Rings’ and ‘Mario Strikers Charged Football’ to re-enter the All Formats Top 40 at No22 and No28 respectively. The only game released this week to debut in the All Formats Top 40 is Microsoft’s ‘Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom’ on Xbox 360 at No33.

La next gen en force.

Capcom celebrate No1 with ‘Devil May Cry 4’, the long-standing Sony PS2 exclusive arrives on PS3…but is now no longer entirely a Playstation brand and debuts simultaneously on Xbox360.

It has been nearly 3 years since the last version and ‘DMC4’ achieves something none of the other versions did – a No1 position on the All Formats chart and the individual format charts (DMC as a PS2 brand only ever got to No2). Xbox 360 takes the lion’s share of DMC4 sales with 61% over the 2 formats. Sega’s ‘Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games’ climbs 2 places to No2 (+85%) thanks to the arrival of the DS version to accompany the huge-selling Wii version (half a million sales in its first 7 weeks). Given the fact that the Mario and Sonic title was actually No1 on this chart in the week prior to Christmas 2007, one wonders if Sega might have held on to the coveted Christmas No1 spot if the DS version had shipped back then. In third place is a re-working of an original classic from over 10 years ago, first released by Acclaim on N64 in 1997 – Disney’s ‘Turok’ on PS3/Xbox360 is the first game from Disney-owned Propaganda Games in Canada. With such a plethora of new releases EA’s ‘Burnout Paradise’ drops from No1 to No4 whilst the new release extravaganza continues with Oxygen’s ‘PDC World Championship Darts 08’ – released 3 weeks ago on PS2/PC, the arrival of the Wii version causes a storm at retail as it debuts here at No6 (and No2 on the Wii Chart). Also debuting strongly is Sega’s ‘The Club’ on Xbox360/PS3 at No9, Eidos’ ‘Conflict: Denied Ops’ on Xbox360/PS3/PC at No11 and a new DS brain trainer from Nintendo – ‘Professor Kageyama’s Maths Training’ at No16.

Fait marquant, DMC4 a réussi ce qu'aucun des autres DMC n'avaient réussi, être premier des deux tops All Formats chart and individual format.
